3 Things I Learned Last Week.

I’ve notice that most of us take life experiences for granted, or maybe we don’t really pay attention to the lessons that are being taught to us.

I’m going to share 3 things I learned last week. Hey, you may learn something as well.

1) My friends are the BOMB.COM

I don’t know if people even say that phrase anymore. . . . I don’t care, I’m using it because it’s all I got, Lmbo. Anyway,  I learned over the years that’s you should surround yourself with the people you strive to be like. Well, I got a revelation this weekend. My friends actually possess the qualities that I want in the different areas of my life and they genuinely love me enough to help me grow! I was blessed and feed spirituality, financially, mentally, and literally this week. Lol. I got a lesson in every area that I’m growing in. I’ll share a few.

The millionaire taught me that it wasn’t all about money but love and humility.

The personal trainer taught me that I am “fine as wine” and that my beauty radiates!

My married friends taught me about real partnership, love, and sacrifice.

The minister taught me that the real lessons and blessings from God are not always done under the roof of the church. Sometimes you have to meet people’s basic needs so they can see the glory of God.

A good girl friend taught me that laughter, wine, a inspirational movie, and pizza is some of the best medicine to rejuvenate the soul.

A good guy friend taught me that people will make time and go for what they want if they see value in it.

I told y’all my friends are some beast!!! LOL.

2) God always has a plan.

So I usually do the same routine. Monday through Wednesday I’m a nurse during the morning hours but every day I work my business. This Monday was different, no nursing assignment! It was very odd because I’m always booked. Well, for those of you that don’t know Atlanta, a protion of one of the major highways is out! Its hot mess. . . Ok! Anyway that’s the way I have to go for my assignments, so I leave super early to detour.  I turn on the news that morning to find out on that same highway further south, a tractor trailer crashed and there was a chemical spill! WHAT, yall,  I would have been stuck like chuck for 5 hours!  Now,  I’ve been working on my road rage. . . You know that scripture about being slow to anger, I need help in the area of driving, LOL. The Lord spared me, my gas, my time, and anxiety. Lol. Won’t he do it? 🙌🙌🙌🙌

3) Soooo. . .  you might really have some haters. Who would have known?!?! Seriously!

So honestly y’all. I am really focused on personal development, building my business, and continuing to grow into the woman God wants me to be. I don’t think about who’s not happy about it. In my head, everyone should be happy to see others succeed. Especially people you know!

So I learned this weekend, that old friends and associates may have just a tad bit of hate, grievance, or anger toward you for your decision to develop into a better person. When you see them the tension may be so thick you can cut it with a knife!  My final thought about it is . . . . Oh well!

Here’s the deal. Some people may have those feelings because your growth makes them uncomfortable and reminds them of what they should be doing.

Could also be that they were never really your friend to begin with and they just can’t hind it anymore. Once again I’m not mad. . .

Or they are just be plain ole miserable. Misery loves company, don’t join it! At the end of the day there is absolutely nothing you can do about any of these issues. Just continue to grow and be kind. Maybe one day they will change that mindset.
So I hope you learned some things from my week and I hope it made you think about some experiences and lessons you learned. Talk to you soon!
