So it’s Memorial Day! First thank you to all veterans that have sacrificed and served our country.
It’s Memorial Day weekend! Here in Atlanta everybody and their momma was out!!! I’m talking about restaurants, bars and clubs packed like slave ships! Lol That’s a another subject. Anyway since I hit 30 the struggle is real! I will sit in the house, drink my coffee, and watch my Martin re-runs. I’m too young for that! Or I’ll wait for someone to call and ask me out. . . .do you hear the crickets? Right. I’ll be home coming up with a thousand reasons not to go. Where will I go, where do people hang, what if no one wants to go with me, blah blah blah.
This weekend I decided to do something different and I had a ball Friday and Sunday night! I decided to tell my friends what I was doing they showed up and we showed out! I made up in my mind, i was going even if no one came. Instead of sitting there waiting on something to happen, making a ton of excuses, I made a decision, acted, and my people came! Man I made the move and God showed out. Everything worked out perfectly, we even found free parking. Lol.
I swear I can learn something from the simplest things. What I learned this weekend is until we make a decision and act on it, what ever we are believing God for will remain stagnant. Truly, faith without works is dead. I had been sitting waiting on some things to happen socially but fun doesn’t come to your door unless you invite it over! Lol. It’s that simple.
What ever you are not acting on right now. . . Just do it! If it’s a job, school, business, making new friends, or a career change. MOVE ON IT! You never know what will happen. . . You might just enjoy it! Now I have some more things I’m about to make happen 😉
