I know  I’m not the only one but I frequently remind myself that I am good enough! As a single woman in Atlanta and in business sometimes life can be a challenge. I recently had two separate experiences.  I’ll start with business first.

I love to give people the opportunity to showcase their business, so every time I have an event I have vendors.  I know what it’s like to be a business owner so I don’t make my spaces very expensive. With that being said I had vendors who already signed up and paid for their space. A young lady approached me about a vendor table but she didn’t want to pay. She kept challenging me and negotiating but she wanted something for nothing.  Because I wouldn’t budge and wanted to be fair to my other vendors she decided not to participate at all, and basically told me she had better things to do! Excuse me then!!! Lol. But hey life goes on.

The event went on as planned,  it was excellent! All of the  participants and vendors were blessed! My frustration wasn’t about the money,  it was about knowing the amount of hard work and time you put into serving others is worth being respected! I want you all to know you are talented, educated, knowledgeable, and worthy.  Never give your skills, services, or business, away for free. You deserve to be compensated! Never let anyone sell you short!

Now when it comes to dating, LORD! Jesus be a fence! As a matter of fact Jesus be my rod and staff. LOL. Some men say the right thing but display something totally different.  Ex boyfriends are calling you with the same thing they said before . . . Tom foolery!  People don’t even know how to date anymore, they just want to “hang out”. Last but certainly not least. Women are expected to be the one to pursue the relationship now! The devil is a lie and the father of it! No, for real, he is. . .

Ladies, let me tell you something! (Sorry guys, I’m a woman,  so I only have one side to this story. LOL.)   You are worth a man’s time and energy. You are worth being pursued, you are beautifully and wonderfully made in God’s image. If a man wants you, he will be diligent in his pursuit for you. He will date you, and you will be his one and only. Don’t settle for being a number or a “side chick”. You are a gift, a jewel, a diamond.

Ladies and gentlemen,  know your worth. Don’t settle for anything less in any area of your life. You are predestined for greatness. 🙂
