Interdependence

Hello!!! I’m back!!!! LOL. So some of you may know but I am a event planner, yes in addition to being a RN and entrepreneur, I’m super busy. Somebody start praying! LOL. With that being said I’m either hosting my own event or working one. A few weeks ago I planned an event for a young lady. The life coach that spoke told us to learn to do be interdependent. I figured you all can put the two words together yourself, but I’ll still provide the definition anyway. . . . Just trying to help. Lol.

Interdependence is the mutual reliance between two or more groups (people). The reason I’m talking about this is because it really hit my spirit. I used to be so dead set on being independent. I mean, I would roll my head and eyes saying ” I don’t need anything from anybody”, “I’m good”, ” I am a strong independent woman”. Y’all know how we are, lol. But in reality nobody is meant to work alone or be alone. When I started doing business I learned quickly to add people to my team with strengths in different areas than my own. I learned that I needed mentors, people experienced in business, friends that just wanted to support, and friends willing to help me grow. In society we often hear the same message; “trust no one”, ” no new friends”, etc. I hope y’all don’t listen to that foolery. Surround yourself with people with goals, dreams, and aspirations. Not only that , surround yourself with people making things happen! It’s ok to let others help or to seek guidance. You never know what goodness people can add to your life. 🙂
